Developmental Specialists:
Our developmental specialists are well versed in early childhood development and work with clients ages 0-3 through the West Virginia Birth to Three program.
Occupational Therapists & Occupational Therapy Assistants:
Pediatric Occupational Therapy is a holistic profession that assists children in developing skills that they need to grow to be independent, functional adults. Whether due to sensory processing difficulties, fine motor or cognitive disabilities, OT seeks to assist children in developing the skills they need in order to be able to complete all Activities of Daily Living (i.e. feeding, dressing, bathing, play, learning, etc). Through play, Pediatric OT works to create a mind-body connection to develop all the skills a child needs to learn and grow. Though many children may not have a diagnosis, a few of the common diagnoses OT treat include children with developmental delays, gross and fine motor delays, sensory processing disorder, Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, ADD, ADHD, ODD, connective tissue disorders, dyslexia, dysgraphia, head trauma, NAS, children that have failure to thrive and many more!
Physical Therapists & Physical Therapy Assistants:

Some of the things a PT/PTA may assist your child with includes: gait training, neuromuscular re-education, assistive technology, postural strengthening and assessment, overall strengthening/stretching, core training, etc. Our PTs/PTAs will work with you to develop plans of care specific to your child's needs.
