Our Staff

The staff at All Aboard Therapy is made up of dedicated individuals working as a team to ensure the needs of the pediatric population in our community are met. Our staff provide services both at the clinic in Teays Valley, as well as through the West Virginia Birth to Three program (in-person and virtual).

Office Staff:

The office staff keep our clinic running smoothly and are always there to greet clients and their families upon arrival. 
Hilliary Johnson

Developmental Specialists:

Our developmental specialists are well versed in early childhood development and work with clients ages 0-3 through the West Virginia Birth to Three program. 
Louwisa Adkins graduated from Marshall University with a B.S. and from Grand Canyon University with an M.A. in Early Childhood Education. Louwisa has over 10 years experience working with children from birth to preschool age as a childcare provider and preschool teacher, as well as 2 years experience as a director of a preschool/childcare center in Putnam county. When asked about her job, Louwisa said "As an educator and mother of three myself, I realize the importance of early childhood intervention and the impact it can make in the development of our children. As a Developmental Specialist, it is my goal to aide and encourage families/caregivers with the tools they need to support their precious children as they work to reach their individual developmental goals." Louwisa looks forward to working with you to create opportunities for your child to grow and develop successfully!
Brittany Carpenter is a graduate of West Virginia University of Parkersburg with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development. Brittany has worked alongside children of infant and toddler ages for nine years and is also the proud parent of a three year old. Brittany said "It brings me pure joy to work with children and their families to promote positive learning experiences. Throughout my years of working with infants and toddlers, I’ve gained experience in working with various disorders and disabilities. I believe every child is unique and well equipped with their own set of strengths needed to excel. I’m dedicated to providing personalized treatment to each child on my caseload. It would be my honor to partner with you in designing a specific plan that best suits your child’s individual needs."
Ashley Kincaid is a graduate of West Virginia University of Parkersburg, where she received a bachelor's degree in Child Development. She also received an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from BridgeValley Community and Technical College. Ashley noted that it was during her years of teaching that her passion for early intervention came to life. In the classroom, she was able to work closely with children, families, and their IFSP teams and had the opportunity to work with children at many different ages and stages of development. Ashley stated that "In my work, my philosophy has remained unchanged. That is, every child has the ability to learn. It is my commitment to create individualized learning experiences that cater to the unique abilities of each child and serve as an advocate for their needs. I look forward to celebrating your child, with you, in all of their accomplishments."
Michelle Kuhn is a graduate of WVU Parkersburg where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. Michelle has over 15 years of experience working in an Infant/Toddler/Pre-K setting where she has been able to work with many different children with a variety of developmental needs. Early childhood education is a passion of Michelle's and she strives to help children flourish in their own environment, while offering help to parents/caregivers by providing the tools needed to support the children they love. Michelle said "As a Developmental Specialist, I value early childhood intervention and the impact it can make in the development & future of a child. All children are unique in their own way & deserve the chance to succeed in life."
Kayla Musgrave is a graduate of Marshall University where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a licensure in Preschool Special Needs. During her time at Marshall, Kayla worked as a preschool assistant teacher and a childcare provider in Mason County. Kayla was born and raised in Mason County, where she still resides today with her husband and son. Kayla has been a part of the early childhood community for the past 6 years and witnessed how important the first 3 years of life can be. She has experience working with developmentally delayed children from ages birth to 5. Kayla said, "As a teacher and a childcare provider, I have learned in a classroom full of children, it can be difficult finding time to work one-on-one. For this reason, I became a Developmental Specialist with the hopes of working one-on-one with children in their natural environment to encourage age-appropriate development. I look forward to the chance of working with you and your child!"

Occupational Therapists & Occupational Therapy Assistants:

Pediatric Occupational Therapy is a holistic profession that assists children in developing skills that they need to grow to be independent, functional adults. Whether due to sensory processing difficulties, fine motor or cognitive disabilities, OT seeks to assist children in developing the skills they need in order to be able to complete all Activities of Daily Living (i.e. feeding, dressing, bathing, play, learning, etc). Through play, Pediatric OT works to create a mind-body connection to develop all the skills a child needs to learn and grow. Though many children may not have a diagnosis, a few of the common diagnoses OT treat include children with developmental delays, gross and fine motor delays, sensory processing disorder, Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, ADD, ADHD, ODD, connective tissue disorders, dyslexia, dysgraphia, head trauma, NAS, children that have failure to thrive and many more!
Kristina Kruszynski has been an Occupational Therapist for the past 12 years, and feels lucky to have a job that she truly loves. As a mother of three (two boys ages 7 & 9 and a six month old daughter), Kristina knows how important it is as a parent to provide our children every opportunity to succeed in their daily life and encourage them every step of the way. Kristina said, "Children are meant to play and explore and my goal is for all children to be able to participate and thrive at their maximum potential. I absolutely love watching children learn and discover new skills." Kristina has experience working with children with sensory processing, gross and fine motor delays, Down Syndrome, CP, stroke, head trauma, autism as well as many other developmental delays. Kristina also works for the school system during the school year.
Kathleen "Katie" (Lago) Sayre is OTR/L, MOT, CIMI-2, & KAY Certified. She has experience as an Occupational Therapist in both outpatient and home health settings. When asked about her job, Katie said "I absolutely love what I do. I have a passion for helping children thrive in their daily lives and reach their best potential." She is comfortable working with children with developmental delays, gross and fine motor delays, sensory processing disorder, Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, head trauma, and children that have failure to thrive. Katie is also a Level 2 Certified Infant Massage Instructor, which she used to assist children born with NAS, increased muscle tone, sensory processing difficulties and constipation/ digestive issues. Katie also has a passion for Yoga, and has been Certified in Kidding Around Yoga, which she uses throughout her OT practice with children to learn deep breathing, mindfulness and to connect their brains and bodies. When asked about her approach to therapy, Katie said "I believe that parents are the experts on their own children and prefer to use a family-centered approach to therapy. It is my goal and privilege to help your child reach his/her maximum potential by helping to develop new skills and succeed in daily life through play and exploration. I look forward to working with you and your child!"
Aliza Warner is a 2018 graduate of Shawnee State University and is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Aliza currently lives in Point Pleasant, WV. Aliza is very passionate about working in pediatrics and being able to help improve the lives of children and their families! Aliza said. "This job allows me to utilize my skills and knowledge in Occupational Therapy, meet amazing families, and grow as a therapist as well as a person."

Physical Therapists & Physical Therapy Assistants:

Pediatric Physical Therapy works to assist children with improving their range of motion, strength, flexibility, and movement patterns. Some of the things a PT/PTA may assist your child with includes: gait training, neuromuscular re-education, assistive technology, postural strengthening and assessment, overall strengthening/stretching, core training, etc. Our PTs/PTAs will work with you to develop plans of care specific to your child's needs. 
Matthew Childress is a graduate of West Virginia University where he obtained a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013. He is the proud father of two wonderful daughters. His oldest daughter has epilepsy and was part of the Birth to Three program; she has experienced long hospital visits and endured hundreds of seizures and countless other medical issues, and due to these issues, has developmental delays. Matthew has experienced the hardships of such difficult times, but also the joy of watching her grow and develop. He strives to provide quality physical therapy services so that your family can gain the knowledge and tools needed to watch your child flourish in all areas of motor development.
Brooke Craig has always enjoyed working closely with children and watching each step of the developmental process. She has a 9 year old, 6 year old, and a 3 year old of her own where she sees this process lived out daily, as well as nieces and nephews. Brooke has said that this more than anything has taught her how precious each milestone is. Brooke has worked with the birth to three population for many years in her church and has been a provider for Birth To Three for 10+ years. She has experience with a variety of diagnoses including Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Prader Willi, and Spina Bifida, just to name a few. Brooke said, "Through play, we will work on developing many strategies that suit the needs of your family to promote sitting, crawling, walking, running, and much more. I look forward to working with you to help your child meet their developmental milestones."
Summer Wells has a PTA degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration. During Summer's years of therapy, she has found such joy in helping others and feels that having career that allows her to assist in meeting patient's goals while improving their mobility and physical health is something she is grateful for. Being a mother, Summer understands the happiness in watching your child grow and reach milestones. Summer said, "Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than playing, reading, and laughing with my son." Summer is thankful for Birth To Three as it allows her to help in child development and provide quality care to those in need. Summer works alongside PT Matt Childress.

Speech Language Pathologists:

Speech language pathologists work with children with a variety of disorders. Our speech language pathologists are well versed in the areas of: expressive language, receptive language, cognition, voice, and feeding/swallowing disorders. Speech therapists may work with clients with a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder, apraxia of speech, Down Syndrome, developmental delays, feeding disorders, fluency disorders, hearing loss, pragmatic disorders, phonological disorders, voice disorders, as well as speech/language delays. ​All of our SLPs put an emphasis on family-centered practice and will work with their clients and their families to develop a plan of care that fits their specific needs. 
Shannon Brooks is a graduate of Marshall University where she earned a Master's degree in Communication Disorders. Shannon is passionate about working with children with communication and feeding needs. She has experience working with any and all populations including, but not limited to: autism, language delay, hearing loss, behavioral disorders, Down’s Syndrome, those with feeding issues or lip/tongue ties, and various other communication disorders. Shannon stated "I'm confident in my ability to build strong relationships with children, as I have nieces and nephews that I love to play with and watch as they grow and learn new things." She is comfortable using sign language and picture exchange communication as strategies to enhance your child's communication abilities as you work toward increasing their expressive speech and language skills. Shannon would love to become part of your team and help you as a family to enhance your child's speech and language environment and development!
Erin Dial is West Virginia native who received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Communication Disorders from Marshall University. Erin knew early on in her education that the pediatric population was her calling and she now works full-time as a school-based speech-language pathologist providing services to preschool and elementary school children with communication needs. Erin has a passion for early intervention and believes that successful communication begins in the home. Erin feels it would be a privilege to assist your family in establishing effective speech, language, and feeding skills and to provide you the necessary tools to facilitate continued growth and development outside of therapy. Erin has experience in the Birth-To-Three setting and treated a multitude of pediatric populations including speech and language delays, feeding disorders, ASD, Down’s Syndrome, and more. Erin said, "My priority as an SLP is establishing an effective communication system and healthy feeding skills to promote the best quality of life for the children I serve. I would love to be part of your team!"
Emma Iddings is a graduate of Marshall University where she earned her Master's Degree in 2014. Emma is originally from Michigan and has two children of her own that she enjoys watching learn, grow, and develop. Emma said, "It would be an honor for me to come to your home to provide speech and language services to your child. I look forward to assisting in promoting communication between your child and other family members and friends." Emma is comfortable with many different pediatric populations including developmental delays, Autism, Down’s Syndrome and more. Emma said, "I believe that I can help create an individualized plan so that together, we can facilitate your child’s communication skills."
Early intervention has always been something that Hilliary Johnson is very passionate about. She believes that intervention at this time in a child's life can yield a significant increase in communication. During Hilliary's time in school, she had the opportunity to work with the birth to three population and knew that was where she was supposed to be. Hilliary believes that family/caregiver involvement is vital in early intervention and she strives to work with families every step of the way to ensure their child receives the best treatment in an environment most comfortable to them. Hilliary has some experience with pediatric feeding and has worked with children with a variety of delays and/or disorders. She is very comfortable using sign language and feels that signing can have a huge impact on increasing a child's language ability. Hilliary would love the opportunity to work with you and your child.
Courtney Massey is a graduate of Marshall University’s Communication Disorders program where she earned both a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree. Courtney has developed a passion for assisting children and their families in developing communication skills and achieving their speech, language, and feeding goals. She firmly believes that families are an integral part of the intervention process and strives to incorporate family involvement in all sessions. Courtney has experience working with children with speech and language delays, autism spectrum disorder, apraxia of speech, behavioral feeding disorders, phonological disorders, articulation disorders, pragmatic disorders, as well as with augmentative and alternative communication. She also has experience with implementing communication devices and picture exchange communication systems and is comfortable using sign language to assist children in developing their expressive language. Courtney said, "I would love to become a member of your child’s team and assist your family in creating opportunities for your child to continue to learn and grow."
Billie McCloy M.S., CCC-SLP, is a Speech Language Pathologist at All Aboard Therapy. She received her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University and her M.S. in Communication Disorders from Marshall University. Billie has worked in the school setting, early intervention and pediatric outpatient. Billie’s clinical experiences include early intervention, pediatric language disorders, apraxia of speech, articulation and phonological disorders, stuttering, autism, sign language and augmentative and alternative communication. She is married, has two daughters and is active in her church where she is the church pianist.
Sarah Price received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Psychology from Marshall University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Harding University. As a mom and an experienced clinician, Sarah has seen the value and benefit of providing speech therapy to children and families in their natural environment. She strives to educate and empower families through play based therapy to improve their children’s communication. Sarah has experience with, but not limited to, speech sound disorders, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, receptive and expressive language delays, augmentative communication devices, apraxia of speech, phonological delays, hearing loss, fluency disorders, and feeding difficulties. Sarah is comfortable using sign language and picture exchange communication. Sarah said, "I would be honored to be part of your team and to implement strategies to enhance your child’s overall development!"
Bethany Taylor is a graduate of WVU and has always had a passion for helping young children. She considers it an honor to help others with vital functions in life such as swallowing and communication. Bethany is comfortable in working with a variety of syndromes/disorders/delays and understands that each child has their own unique needs. Bethany said, "I value family involvement and support as it is very important. I can’t wait to work with you and your family."
Autumn Murdoch has said “I consider it a privilege to come into your home and help your family utilize strategies to encourage and promote your child's speech, language, and swallowing skills.” She has been working with the pediatric population for 5 years in hospital, school, and home settings and has experience with various disorders and disabilities, some of which include speech delays, sensory integration, feeding and swallowing problems, difficulty understanding language, and problems expressing wants and needs. Autumn is dedicated to designing a specific plan to suit your child's individual needs and believes that together, you can create opportunities for your child to explore, learn, and grow!
