One of the many areas that occupational therapy helps address is activities of daily living. This includes many of the self-care tasks someone might do throughout the day. Occupational therapy can help to promote the intricate skills and processes needed to complete these important daily activities through individualized therapy. That may look like working on fine motor skills for some and for some others it might look like exploring adaptations to the environment to better suit their needs.
If you feel like your child could benefit from support or further development in these skills, reach out to our office about our wonderful occupational therapy team!
